UNESCO Chair in Cultural Policy and Management Presentation in Zagreb, Croatia

On the 2nd December 2016 UNESCO Chair in Cultural Policy and Management held a public presentation at the KLUB MAMA in Zagreb organized by University of Arts in Belgrade and Kulturflux from Zagreb.

The presentation had the aim to provide detailed information about the study program  - its courses, professors, job and internship opportunities, partneship with Univesity Lumiere Lyon 2 and possibilities for francophone students. 

The audience enganged in a open debate and questioned the capacities and capabilities of one manager in culture - what skills should one manager in culture have in order to be effective and efficient in its primary work but also as a project and financial manager? When was the time when one cultural worker has become a manager without realizing it? And why do current educational policies lack practical knowledge when it comes to management in culture? The questions were answered by distinguished guest Dr Nada Švob-Đokić, one of the first guest lecturers of the UNESCO Chair in Cultural Policy and Management from Croatia.  

The director of Cultural Information Center Zagreb Mr. Emir Matešić promoted the book translated in Croatian - Culture/Management/Animation/ Marketing written by UNESCO Chairholder prof. dr Milena Dragićević Šešić and prof. dr Branimir Stojković.
