PhD Scholarship opportunity

A scholarship is available to enable an eligible student to enrol for a PhD at Macquarie University under the supervision of Professor David Throsby in the Department of Economics.

The scholarship is attached to a 3-year research project 'The Australian Book Industry: Authors, publishers and readers in a time of change', funded by the Australian Research Council. The... scholarship covers student fees and provides a tax-free stipend of Aus$25,392 per year for 3 years. Candidates with an interest in problems facing book industries worldwide, and with a background in economics, statistics, cultural economics, digital humanities, publishing studies, literature, media studies or marketing may apply.
