  • What is the Cultural Policy and Management Platform?

    The Cultural Policy and Management Platform (hereinafter, the “Platform”) is a unique regional multilingual searchable database of information, knowledge, expertise and activities of educational and research institutions in the field of cultural policy and management in the South Eastern Europe. Initiated by the UNESCO Chair in Cultural Policy and Management (MA Studies) at the University of Arts in Belgrade, and supported by the Erste Stiftung, it has been developed with a network of more than twenty institutes, academic departments and civil society organizations in the field of cultural policy research, advocacy, and cultural management training in the Region. Its goal is not only to present and link these major educational and research institutions, and relevant civil society organizations in order to promote regional expertise and cooperation in the mentioned domains, but also to empower students with knowledge and resources for researching and working in the field.
    Today, we can proudly say that the Platform is the key professional resource for researching cultural policy and management in the South East Europe.

  • How do I change / choose the language of the Platform?

    It is extremely easy – just hover your mouse over the planet symbol (“the language button” on the top right corner of the main menu) to switch the Platform language. There you can choose from 7 regional languages (Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrin, Macedonian, Slovenian and Bulgarian) and English. 
  • Which news do you publish?

    The Platform is the place where you can find information about the newest academic trends and events, conferences, new publications, projects that are taking place, as well as read exclusive interviews with cultural policy and management professionals and researchers.
  • How do I use your Events calendar?

    ​You can browse through past, present and future events in two ways: in the form of a calendar and in the form of events list. Different types of events are presented in different colors (consistent with the colors of categories of the Platform’s main menu – news are yellow, research is red, etc.).
    Follow our events calendar so you never miss the deadline for an open call, or a scholarship opportunity.
    If you cannot find the conference or the event you are attending in our calendar, inform us about it.
  • What does the Research category cover?

    This category is reserved for researchers – both young and already established. If you are doing a research, missing references, or you are in need for new starting points, trends, and reading material in general, check out the Research section of our Platform and browse through current researches, articles, publications, books, MA and PhD theses, as well as some excellent student papers.
  • What is the Edu section about?

    The Edu category is the place where you can watch interviews, lectures, and conference speeches from some of the most prominent professors in the field of cultural policy and management, as well as listen to podcasts and download various texts and books from our e-library.
    Online stream subcategory is active only during specific events.
    Tutorials for various academic purposes will be available soon as well. 
  • What is the SEE Register?

    The SEE register is the section of the Platform where you can find profiles of researchers, universities, foundations, organizations, networks, and journals active in the cultural policy and management field.
    If you are a researcher or a cultural professional in the cultural policy and management field, you can also have a personal profile page – just send us your biography.
  • Is there a part of the Platform reserved for young researchers?

    Yes, we care about the needs of young researchers and professionals in the field of cultural policy and management. Therefore, we have a special category on the main menu called Student’s corner, where we publish information about scholarships, internships and job offers.

  • Where do I register?

    If you don't have an account yet, you can register one for free here. Then you can log in either with your e-mail address or Facebook & Twitter accounts.

    You can participate in discussions and comment our news and another published content.
  • How can I contribute?

    If you wish to get involved in the Platform’s activities, do not hesitate to send us news, information about events, conferences, publications, your papers, etc.

    As a user of the Platform (registered or not), you cannot create a profile or publish any content on the Platform by yourself. If you are a researcher or a professional in the cultural policy and management field, you can have a personal profile page – just send us your biography (here) and we will publish it for you.
