Biography

Lachezar Bojidarov Antonov is a Chief Assistant Professor at the Southwest University in Blagoevgrad. He graduated from the Cultural Studies (specialization: Theory of Culture) in 2000 and obtained his MA in Philosophy (specialization: Virtual Culture) in 2001, at the Sofia University. He defended his doctoral thesis entitled Cultural Difference and Mutual Understanding. An Attempt of a Critical Consideration of the Opposition “Universal” – “Contextual” within and beyond  the Boundaries of the Theory of Communicative Action at the Southwest University in Blagoevgrad in 2006.

Lachezar Bojidarov Antonov has a good experience in the organization of academic events (seminars, conferences, workshops, etc.). He participated in seven research projects (national and international).

He is a member of the Union of Scientists of Bulgaria and a coordinator of the Centre of New Media and Digital Culture at Southwest University - Bulgaria.
