Daniela Urem

Biography

Daniela Urem holds BA degree in psychology from the Pace University, New York. She is the Head of the Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs at the University of Rijeka. She founded this office in 2012.

Previously, she was an artistic director of the Doors Art Foundation (since 2004). This followed her work as a Program Specialist in the Museum Program at the National Endowment for the Arts.

Daniela Urem currently works on several platforms simultaneously, on university-related projects on cultural development and policies at the University of Rijeka and has been actively involved in various forms of international cultural cooperation.

In her work she promotes intercultural dialogue and exchange of experiences by actively building cultural networks. She initiated and produced first Life Long Learning programs at the University of Rijeka related to culture and an initiative Kvadart focusing on international programs and career and audience development.

She holds lecturers regularly on cultural management with focus on production and audience development.
